Shit, son, I don't even know what to say.
This is probably the most ambitious I've ever gotten with an art project before. Guess who downloaded a Flash trial specifically for this comic, and spent days and days trying to figure out how the hell it works, with a bit of code going wrong even after following like five tutorials
, eventually gave up hope but then found this Flash comic builder and now may or may not be convinced that there actually is a god because I FINISHED THIS BEFORE FRIDAY. For you. Technically it's been Friday for fifteen minutes here but WHO CARES? I DID IT!!
I am actually really fucking proud of this despite how lame it is I don't even care.
(Not everyone's in this but this is all the ones that were in the Gift Thread at the time so sorry to people who were left out)
This was originally going to be a very simple picture. It
was basically going to be the first panel, with a bit more writing.
But then that was too depressing. I didn't want to do something depressing, not for a birthday gift. So I came up with the idea of creating new memories. But how to incorporate that without it being too awkward and weird?
So I ended up like this.
I was gonna be a comic. I did consider a gif but immediately dismissed that idea.
And then I thought, wouldn't it be beautiful if it were a Flash comic?
That would be exactly the sort of thing I was visualising in my mind.
But I've never used Flash before. It wouldn't happen. Ever.
Then I thought
How hard could it really be?
I could download a Flash trial
And I was sure there would be loads of tutorials for making Flash comics
They're so popular. They can't be too hard.
So that's exactly what I did
And it really is beautiful.
Happy birthday, Perx. Enjoy being 21. I hear that's a good age to be.
You can legally play the Slinking Game. ;D
